Tyrone Roper serves as the Assistant Chief of the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD). Rather than being discouraged, Jim saw an opportunity to rebuild. He revamped recruitment strategies, created initiatives for officer growth, and prioritized recognizing their hard work. His people-first approach earned him a promotion to Commander, where he made it his mission to restore the sense of family within the department. By overhauling the LSPD’s service medals and embedding his motto, “One Family, One Fight,” into the department’s culture, Jim transformed the way officers viewed their roles—not just as law enforcement but as a united team. His efforts led to further promotions, eventually reaching Chief Commander, where he worked alongside Chief Brooks-Olsen to navigate the department through challenging times.

Despite his success, an opportunity at the Department of Justice called, leading Jim to step into the role of Assistant Director, overseeing major investigations and strengthening inter-agency ties. However, even with the prestige of the DOJ, something was missing—LSPD was home. With humility and perseverance, he worked his way back up, eventually being promoted to Deputy Chief, where he leads with the same core values that have defined him from the start: respect, dedication, and an unshakable belief in family.
